About the Job
- The ideal candidate would provide estimates to general contractors, business owners.
- Knowledge of reading, interpreting, and understanding blueprints, specifications and bid documents.
- Ability to provide thorough estimates/proposals to the customer.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, sub-contractors and co-workers in the field and office.
- Applying for permits and finalizing inspections.
- Ability to market new customers.
- Run small project with union employees on site with GC.
- Seek out bidding opportunities that align with company strategy and workload needs.
- Foster relationships with clients and general contractors to gain access to future opportunities.
- Prepare and submit final job cost estimates for customer review.
- Assist in the preparation of bid packages for submission to customers.
- Knowledge of reading, interpreting, and understanding blueprints, specifications and bid documents.
- Must have experience and knowledge of current NEC.
- Ability to provide thorough estimates/proposals to the customer.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, sub-contractors and co-workers in the field and office.
- Applying for permits and finalizing inspections.
- Ability to market new customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and industry estimating software.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Electrical knowledge and field experience preferred.
