Structural Engineer

About the Job
You will be asked to work with a project team to coordinate the structural designs with other engineering disciplines as well as client requirements. You will review and respond to RFI’s and submittals from vendors and contractors regarding structural designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience as a structural engineer.
- Licensed Structural Engineer (PE Structural).
- Experience in heavy industrial design work.
- Experience with STAAD Pro, TEKLA, RAM.
- General knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with structural analysis, documentation, construction drawings, steel fabrication drawing reviews.
- Experience with concrete and foundation design, including interfacing with geotechnical engineers.
- Experience coordinating work within an internal team of structural engineers and structural designers, as well as cross-disciplinary coordination.
- Ability to work using 3D models, like AutoCAD and Navisworks.
